I was involved in a research project on equity, diversity and inclusion in the video game industry led by Professor Gabrielle Trépanier-Jobin, UQAM. My responsibilities : To create a literature review that focuses on studies in video game production and organizational communication and to conduct semi-structured interviews with research participants.

I created a brand new communication course for the DESS Narrative Game Design program. I teach this course every fall to all new students in the program to help them design their own game and hone their communication skills.

As a consultant for the La Guilde du jeu vidéo du Québec, I participated in the Diversity and Inclusion Plan project whose objectives is to raise awareness towards diversity and inclusion issues within the industry and to communicate good practices to its members. My responsibilities : Analyze interviews with stakeholders and write recommendations to be quickly implemented by the participating studios and adapted to their reality.

Learning Experience Designer

Core member of the design team behind the Game Creator's Odyssey, a new professional level video game design program created in partnership with Ubisoft;
Collaborate with project stakeholders to formulate learning outcomes with a plan to evaluate program effectiveness from a learner and business perspective;
Create, curate and update engaging digital and physical content (videos, articles, internal experts, etc.);
Design and explore solutions requiring an interactive experience (Gaming, AR, VR, simulation-based training);
Conduct design analysis, define project outcomes, and analyze target audience expectations;
Create a detailed design structure that defines performance outcomes and learning objectives, describes activities and evaluation strategy;
Write, script, and edit learning and performance support interventions;
Demonstrate adaptability and agility in design and development;
Ensure learning solutions are pedagogically sound, developed on time, within scope and budget.

Review educational content;
Create and produce storyboards detailing scripts, images, narrations, evaluations, and interactivity;

Perform content quality assurance review and testing throughout all stages of storyboard development to ensure that standards have been maintained;

Deliver material within the estimated time, follows production schedule, and documents progress throughout the project life cycle;
Provide assistance and input in all other aspects pertaining to proper functioning of the department.
